Patriotic Nroao.—A free negro, adsscen-
danl of Gen. Washington's slaves, who was
maiiuiitniued, by him, owning and occopy-
lug a farm o* about one hundred and fitly
acres near Mt. Vernon, Fairfax county, Vs.,
tendered twenty eight acres of his farm to be
sold, and the proceeds used in defense of the
State, against Lincoln’s adoiinsirstion, any
part of the same, save tbAl on which bia bouse
is. The land is good, and worth $25 per
acre. He is an intelligent negro.
