COMMERCIAL.
ATLANTA, May 80, 1861.
Business yesterday was quite brisk, but we
have no change to quote. A renewed activity
was manifest in Flour; and slso fair lots of
Corn went forward. Bscon is steady, and a
good trade is being done. Large lots of Pro-
aiiee are on hand, and in transitu. Bo there
is esrtainly no doubt about supplies.
Quotations are same as our lest report in ev
ery particular.
MONETARY.
There ia not much doiog in the way of dis
counts. The money market is genarally easy,
and dealers generally have fine balances to
their credit. Exchange is quoted at 6 $ cent
in Macon, and some Urge amounts have been
negotiated for a shade less.
