A small fight ia reported at Bull's Run, where several FederalisU were killed. Toe "Tribune" correspondent lay* the en gagement at Bull's Creek, aiz milts from Man assas, lasted half an hour; but tha 9outhern- ers ware too well posted to be routed. Three masked batteries opened at intervals on our men, and they retired. Heavy firing waa haard by tha correspondent as he left tha field. The Senate Military bill has paaaed; and the House bus concurred in the Senate's amendments to the Navy bill. WASHiMQto*, July 19.—A bill to modify tha tariff, meats with unexpected opposition in the House. A proposition was made in the House to ex pel the Hon. Henry May, Mayor of Baltimore, from the United States, on account of his hav ing recently visited Richmond and had an in terview with Jet) Davis. It was tabled. Richmond, July 19.—The Secretary of War and the Adjutant General have just informed me that they have no particulars of the Confed erate loss as to number* or nemos of killed and wounded at the battle yesterday nt Bull's Run Creek near Manama*. Private reports so far teferonlyto a small loss of the Con fed crates, vastly dlsproportloned to the supposed loss of the federal*. I will Mend you details so soon ns they arc received. The Seoretnrv of War says ho has no official details of the tight nt Rich Mountain or Gon. Garnett's conflict. [later] Official accounts received at the War De partment to day, at noon, of the battle at Bull's Rud, near Manassas, state that tha Con- fad era te loss was 60 in killed and wounded, and that of the enemy, 500. There is no ap pearance of the Federals this morniug. AH ia quiet at the Confederate camps. Cincinnati, July 19.—Cox's Kanabwa men (Federate) fired at each other, killing two and Wounding several, about forty miles up the Kanahwa River, in Virginia, at Red House.— The cavalry charged Cox’s column, killing two and mortally wounding one. Tho cavalry then wheeled and left the column. Louisville, July 19.—Among tho Southern ers killed at Weston, waa Capt. Bkipwitb, of the Richmond Blues, Lieut. Darmitt, Dr. Tay lor, and Dr. Walk. Capt. DeLagnel and his first Lieutenant were wounded. DeLagnel es caped to his camp, but waa afterwards taken and carried off a prisoner. It is reported that be cannot recover. Blnkfr Hill, (near Martinsburg,) July 18.— Gen..Patterson weut to Charlestown, instead of making an attack on Winchester. Winchester cannot be attacked on the north aide, without, great loss of life. [Charlestown is more in the direction of McDowell, whom he may be trying to join.—Eds. Confederacy.] Burlington, Iowa, July 18.—Three hundred Confederate Cavalry have invaded Appanoose county, (bordering on the North of Missouri) which bs* spread great terror among the peo ple of the adjoining counties. GLORIOUS CONFEDERATE VICTORY I Special Dispatches to the Confederacy Richmond, July 18.—The Federalists, undei Gen. McDowell, advanced upon Fairfax to-day with ten thousand. He was repulsed with great slaughter, after four hours fighting, by seven thousand Confederates, under Uen. Bonham, who commanded our advanced force. The en emy is retreating on Alexandria. A. Later! Richmond, July 19.—The light commenced at Falls Run, where Boahana had fallen hack, and it extended to Manassaa and become general.— We repulsed the enemy at all points, with heavy oss. The flight lasted several hours—Beaure gard ia command. A. Richmond, July 18.—W* are compelled to depend on paeeenfere for news. Apparently reliable men state that four hundred of Col. Bonham, with immense slaughter. The Federalists are retreating upon Alexandria. W. E. Starke, aid to Gen.
