SOUTHERN CONFEDERACY. HaF*The Daily and Weekly •‘Capfedsraaj ’ lor t>ale at all times, at flVa cents per copy: Old Papers For sale at our Heading Room. Price fifty cents per hundred. Notice. Very often our friends band in local notices and advertisements too late in the even ing tor their appearance best norning. The printers leave our office at six o’clock; snd for inorethau two hours before they leave no new matter ran bo got iu. In ordi r to ioiure in sertion, they should be furnished to us by two o'clock. Advertising. The Confederacy has more than three times the circulation of any piper in Georgia, North of Augusta, and is fully equal to that of any paper in the State. We do not make this state ment citherns a boast, or in order to convey any erroneous impression, we say it candidly —knowing what we say—and because it Is true. The Southern Confederacy Office, Has a reliable special letter and teJegropbii correspondent at Manassas Junction—the great attractive field of battle at present. We have also engaged reliable correspondents from varl ous points in Virginia. Everybody wants to hear the news, and all important dispatches or news items received by us, will be promptly placed on the Confederacy bulletin. In these exciting times It U probable that ex travagant rumors will get afloat. We caution the people against them, and beg everybody to he careful what they believe. We have every possible facility for obtaining correct news. Tills, however, cost* us heavily, and we hope every one who h so anxious to get war news will admit the equity of subscr bing and paying for our paper. Quite a number of names on our dally list and a few on the weekly, will be erased this week, unless the subscriptions are renewed. We in variably stop sending the paper at the termina tion of the time for which it is paid. teT Our terms for the Daily arc $5 per annum or oO cents per month—the cheapest Daily in the South, that gives the tame amount of read ing matter. In cases, subscribers to the Daily “ Confederacy” will be charged at the rate of 5® cents per month for any length of time le t ban one year. The Weekly is a very large sheet, lull of the choicest reading matter. The cheapest way to get the news is to subscribe for the Confeder- POST-OFFICE. Post Orricic, Atlanta, June 12,1861.
