PHlLIr’S CHURCH, Atlanta, Ga., was
i orgr.niKod soon after the commencement of
i active hostilities, end has been industriously
but quietly laboring in its patriotic work ever
since. Atlanta having been constituted by
tho authorities a principal station for Hospi
tal work, we feel constrained to eai.l upon our
Southern brethren to come to our help. There
are some 3 0»Q sick soldiers here now, hailing
trom every part of the Confederacy, and the
number :s likely to be largely increased.
We appeal to car fellow-patriots to send ub
anything they can spare that would bo useful
tor the sick and suffering. A careful and just
distribution will be made of all that we re
ceive.
They who prefer to make use of our Society
as the Ateioner of their contributions, wilj
