T HE HOSPITAL AID SOCIETY OF *T.
PHILIP’S CHURCH, Atlanta, Ga... was
organised eoon after the commencement of
active hostilities, and has been industriously
bat quietly laboring ia its patriotic work svsr
since. Atlanta having baen constituted by
the authorities a principal station lor Hospi
tal work, wu feel constrained to cell vpen cur
Southern brethren to come to our hoip. Tk ir*
are some 2,999 sick soldiers here now, nailing
from every part of the Confederacy, end th*
number is likely to be iergely increased.
We appeal to our fellow-patriots to eend us
anything they can spare that would be useful
for the sick and suffering. A careful and just
distributism will b* maos ef all that ws re
ceive.
