power for lorwaiding private packages of clothing or
■4ber necessaries, intended for Georgia soldiers in any
portion of lha field of war, and to use all diligence fur

hare already made arrange manta lor dispatchlrgregular
and careful messengers, two or three times ever, week,
whose office requires him to accompany the packages en
trusted to their care until they are actually delivered into
the hands of oor Agents in Richmond. We have other
employees who are similarly engaged in conveying gooda
to Chattanooga, intended for Georgians In the armies oi
the West. From Bichmond and Chattanooga they will be
distributed to the parties whose names they bear, by per
sons there employed for this purpose; or will be stored in
our warehouses in those cities until called for, If Borneans
•hall exist for transporting them further, or if the cod*
