A CONTRACT will be let to the lowest bidder, beforo the Court ’House door In Atlanta, on Tuesday, the 8d day of Haroh, 1863, for the distillation of two thousand gallons of Alcohol, and throe thousand gallons cf Whisky, to be sold to and rued by the citizens of this county for medicinal, chemloal and mechanical, purposes, for the present year. As th a statute limits the price of the Al cohol to he made to twe dollars and fifty cents per gallon, sad Whisky at one dollar ana fifty cents per gallon, no bid at a higher price will be considered. The contractor is to furnish "b# G da to deliver th* Aleohol at the county site, to Die scanty agent who will be appointed by ns to receive, have charge of and sell it to consumers, as he may be directed. The Alcohol and Whisky will be paid for by such county agent out of the proceeds when sold; and the harries will remain the property of the contractor, and be given ba:k to him when empty.
