” Charleston, March 8, 1814.
Dear Sir, —I feel much pleasure in having it
in ny power to communicate a surprising cure,
effected by the medicine! purchased from you,
termed Dr. Robertson’s Elixir of Health. I will
state the following facta: about the lattey end
of Nov. last, I procured from you some of the
Elixir of Health, for a boy of mine, wiio had
labored under a violent cough for more than
12 months, attended with ‘ slow fever an d
shortness of breath, it had reduced him so much
that I concluded it would terminate fatnjly. He
took many other medicines and found, no re
lief. He continued to use the Elixir for about
three weeks, when his rough, fever and short
ness of breath ceased, and he is now in good
health, having had no return of his disorder.
Should any person wish to have more particular
information, I will, with pleasure, satisfy their
enquiries, by applying to me.

Under the denomination of nervd'ta disorders

the most dreadful suggestion! of horror and
despair. To this demon have thousands fallen
a sacrifice, in the direful transport of its rage.
The most common symptoms dt its commence

Worms which affect the human body, are
chiefly of three kinds, ‘liz. Taema*, or tape
worm, the Terce, or ramd and long worm ;
and the Aecandes , or ipund and short worm.
There are many kind of worms found in the hu

from similar causes-have nearly the same symp
toms, and require the same method of treat
ment as those already mentioned.
Though numberless medicines are extolled

in efficacy to Dr. Robertson's Worm Destroying

may be given to the youngest infant with safety

They are particularly serviceable in femals

obstructions which are the great source of their
complaintß at certain periods; the)’ possess this
eminent advantage over most oilier purgative*
: that while they operate gently, may produce
neither costiveness, debility, nor to a great

to a disease arising from marsh effluvia, a too
copious use of ardent spirits, or a vitiated taste
of the bile, they are sure to relieve.
1; They are highly recommended to traveller*
