E. Bay,
“ Charleston, March 8,1314.
Dear Sir, —I feel much pleasure in having it.
in my power to communicate a Surprising cure,
effected by the medicine I purchased from you,
termed Dr Robertson’s Elixir of Health, 1 will
state the following facts .- about the latter cud
of Nov. last, I procured from you some of the
Elixir of Health, for a boy of mine, who had
labored under a violent cough for more that!
12 months, attended with slow fever and
shortness of breath, it had reduced him so much
that I concluded it would terminate fatally. M e
took many other medicines and found no re
lief. He continued to use the Elixir for about
three weeks, when his cough, fever and short
ness of breath ceased, and he is now in good
health, having had no return ofhis disorder.
Shmdd any person wish to have more particular
information, I will, with pleasure, satisfy their
enquiries, by applying to me.
I am, Sir, your’s, he.
To Dr. John Dyott. C. W. Dor

Dear Sir, —When in Charleston last, I colled
on you, and purchased fwo bottles of your Sto

mended to me to take for a cough and an op
pression cn the breast. I have since used the
medicine according to your directions, and
found it to be very beneficial to me in remo
ving the complaints : therefore I think it mi
duty to recommend it to all persons afflicteii
with the above complaints to give the medi
cine a trial.
I am, dear sir, your’s with respect.

DU. ROBERTSON’S
Vegetable Nervous Cordial ;
Or, Nature’s Grand Restorative.
(Price SI and 50 cents.)
Is confidently recommended, as the most"effi
cacious medicine for the speedy relief and cure
of all nervous complaints, uttendedwith inward’
weakness, depression of the spirits, head-ache,
tremore, faintness, hysteric fits, debility, and
various complaints resulting from secret im
propriety of youth and dissipated habits, resi

of tea, the unskilful or excessive use of mercu
ry, so often destructive to human; the same dir
eases peculiar to females, at a certain period
oflife, flour albus, Btc. &c.
Under the denomination of nervous disorders
are included several diseases of the most dan
gerous kind, and are so various, that a volume
would hardly’ suffice to complete a description
of them. It pervades, with its baneful influ
ence, the whole nervous system, writhing the
heart with inexpressible anguish, and exciting
the most dreadful suggestions of horror and
despair. To this demon have thousands fallen
a sacrifice, in the direful transport of its rage.
The most common symptoms at its commence
ment, are weakness, flatulence, palpitations,
watchfulness, drowsiness after eating, timidity,
flashes of heat and cold, numbness, cramp, gid
diness pains in the head, back, and loins; hicup,
difficulty of respiration and deglutition, anxi

A medicine highly necessary to be kept in all

Worms which affect the human body, are

from similar causes-have nearly the same symp
toms, and require the same method of treat
ment as those already mentioned.
Though numberless medicines are extolled
for expellng and killing w’orms none are equal
in efficacy to Dr. Robertson’s Worm Destroying
Lozenges, they are mild in their operation, and
may be given to the youngest infant with safety.,
