had a NEGRO Fellow brought to hit
Plantation, onSapeloHigh Point, byhisOver
feer, who appeared to be run away ; he wa>j
found naked, and peri filing with cold ; after be
ing clothed and attended, the Negro took near
fix weeks before he recovered ; fie calls hitn
felf DICK:, about foUr feet fix inches high, has
a large head, feet, and inouth ; he will not ac
knowledge to whom he belongs.—The fubferi
ber has retained him on the Island, not know
ing the mode to pursue in this case, he wrote
several times to Citizen Charles Harris, attor
ney a*, law, but received no answer, and thus
the Ne.?ro has remained in his pofiellion fmcc.
