lic in general, and to all travellers in par
ti’ urir, that Mr. M'Kinlon has surveyed
the dillauce from the Court House in Sa
vannah to the Union Ferry Landing on
the South Carolina iide of the, river, and
fund it be two miles and an halt. From
the union ferry to my ferry house on the
road leading to Auguita, is twenty miles,
according to Mr. M-Farland's meafnre
meni by a wheel, which he will att- It at
any time—and from the aforefaki court 1
house m Sav.uin ill to rav ferry house, is
t wcutv-four and three quarters of a mile
and a few chains, making a difference of,
two miles and three quarters, and a few
chains.—and from my ferry, house to the
Charleston road is a mile and a quarter,
making in aii from Savannah court house
to the Charleston road, 26 miles and a few
chains—and by the way of the union ferry
to the place where my road iutvrlt els, the
Gharh lton road is twenty-two miles and
three quarters, so that the difference is on
ly three neks and a quarter. I further
promise the public, if 1 live, in the course
ct next winter to have the New River
Eoad surveyed by a fworu surveyor, to

both roads unite, that the difference that
