Plymouth, Biehland Cos., Ohio, Sept. 25,1855.
Mr. J. A. Kiiodms, —Dear Sir—J cheerfully testify to

in the family of a clergyman here has been taking ail

Prevent ft ve,
And pursue their respective avocations in perfect safety
from ague or bilious attacks during tlie sickly season,
which is often t* them the most valuable part of the
year.
Since the introduction of the ('URE in every part of
the United States, its success has hern so complete and
unvarying aa to have fully proved these assertions iu
favor of its extraordinary merit.
When these declarations were, made, at the date of its
introduction, they seemed incredible to many, even of
the most candid minds, because all the resources t)
science had been taxrd iu vain to subdue ague or bilious
diseases; and what was still worse for ague sufferers,
all their remedies or treatment, whether scientific 01
empirical, lmve been limited to poisonous or destructive
drugs, such as Arsenic. Quinine, Mercury, Salicine, Ac.
The effects of these are sometimes worse than the disease
they subdue, and when such remedies fail, or give onl)
temporary relief, their poisonous effects .ire superadded
to tin 1 poor sufferer's first complaint.
On this account ague sufferers should lie particularly
careful about using any secret Fever and Ague remedies,
notwithstanding the makers of them uniformly assert
they may be taken with perfect safety, oven when it is
notoriously well known that their potency depends
solely upon destructive poisons.
Vow. as a proof that, the Remedy is not only valuable
on account of its power to cure diseases, but that it is
also

The: entire absence of any baneful ingredient makes
tliis Heine ly not more valuable jih a Cure, than it is hs a
preventive.
No Hass ofdisea.se is so easily managed its tlie one
under consideration, if the medicine be taken in advance.
Tliis is owing to the diseases being produced by one an 1
the same cause, and therefore all. both residents and
travelers, should protect themselves by the timely use
of this preventive, and not wait for the poison already
lurking iu their veins, to develop itself in a violent
attack. Take tin* Cure as a preventive, and so destroy
the poison before it does barm.
Full directions and advice as to diet and habits of life
prepared by a distinguished Physician long resident in
a Bilious climate now accompany each bottle.
It will often be found necessary to precede this medi
cine by a mild cathartic or antibilious purgative. Thu
very Iwst thing for general use. is a moderate dose ol
Castor Oil, the object of which is to cleanse the stomach
and free the biliary passages. Remember that where
this is necessary, or there is costiveness, it MUST UE TAKEN
or the operation of the antidote will he seriously ob

Only Caution* —In certain specified cases, poui
the contents of one or more bottles of the Cure into
shallow vessels, (dining plates,) and place, them in
sleeping rooms; tor the vapor rising from the medicine,
and also the air watted across, or circulated over the
dre':s of Jt. alter Ho* liquid is evaporated, will counteract
ami destroy, to a degiee commensurate with its expo

Tliis mode of exhibiting the Cure should likewise bo
resorted to when very young infants are exposed to
malarious situations.
The bottles in which tliiM medicine is put up have th

medicine, (the copyright of which is secured) and the
