aud a Field Battery, consisting of four six-pouuder brans
pieces, and two twelve-pounder Howitzers.
The Superintendent and the Commandant, are gradu
ates of West Point, and ns the Institute is upon the West
Point plan, the public may lie assured that the govern
ment, discipline aud course of studies will be strictly en
forced.
