and a Field Battery, consisting of four six-pounder brass
pieces, and two twelve-pounder Howitzers.
The Superintendent and the Commnndunt, are gradu
ates of West Point, and ns the Institute is ujion the West
Point plan, the public may be assured that the govern
ment,discipline and course of studies will he strictly en
forced.
