This institution is located in one of the most beautiful
and healthy villages of South Western Georgia; owned
by the Masonic Fraternity, and under its supervision; it
is kept free from all sectarian bias—at the same time, re
quisite care is taken to secure to the pupils proper moral,
as well as nienta. training.
The next session will open on the second Monday in
January next. The Classes will then he organized, and
will progress as heretofore.
Boarding can be obtained in the best families of the
place, where the students will be surrounded by the safe
guards and amenities of the families circle.
The rates oftuition and board, are as low as those of
fered by any similar Institution in this part of the State.

THE undersigned designs opening a Private Academy
for Young Ladies iu Eatonton, Putnan county, Ga.,
on Wednesday, January 9th, 1856.
In the Literary Department the course of study will
he extensive and liberal.
The Latin, French, German and Spanish Languages
will be taught if desired.
The Ornamental Department will include Music on tho
Piano, Harp, Organ and Guitar.
Also, Drawing, Painting, and Embroidery in all its
branches.
A complete apparatus will he furnished in order to af
ford ample illustrations in the Natural Sciences.
Musical instruments will be provided, so that each
pupil may have the means of daily practice in addition to
the regular lesson.
The number of pupils will l#e limited to 36.
Tuition per annum, $126 00; half in advance, and the
balance at the end of the year.
Attention Is called to the following advantages: First,
the pupil receives a much larger share of attention, than
when the school is large and overgrown.
Second, in addition to the regular course of study, she
can make such a selection from the languages, and tho
irnamental Department, as time and choice may dictate,
without extra charge.
Third, the low rate of tuition, compared with that of
other schools.
