DE WOLE, EDITORS. illE DAILY SUN being now established on a basis, btta.l enough and strong enough, to secure its per manence, we have determined to carry out our long cherished intention, the establishment of a WEEKLY JIIE WEEKLY SUN, will bo made up from the choic es! matter ol our daily; like it, will maintain a strict as to party and creed; and like it, will contain all the latest and most interesting news received, up to thl hour of going to press. On toe first of September next, we shall have in suc cessful operation, liberal TELEGRAPHIC ARRANGEMENTS, which will enable us to lay before our readers the very latest news. Foreign and Domestic, Commercial, Politi cal! and Miscellaneous. Wo might enlarge at great length, upon our intentions; but preferring performance to promises, we shall endeavor to have the “SUN ” make its-own way exclusively upon such merit us it may be found to possess. jeforc embarking in this project, which w ill lie an ex peasive aud laborious one, we desire to have some guar anty of its success.
