C. 11. K. Office, Vandaua. June 21, 1854.
PROFESSOR WOOD—
Dear Sir—l take pleasure in bearing voluntary tes
timony to the excellence of your Hail’ Restorative. Three
months ago my hair was very gray, it is now a dull,
brown, (the original color,) smooth and glossy. The only
Application I have made to it, lias been tlie Hair Resto
rative prepared by you, and which, from the result in
my own case, 1 cun most cordially recommend to others.
Respectfully, yours, ED VV. WOLCOTT.
Vincennes, la.. June 21,1853.
PROF. O. J. WOOD—
As you are about to manufacture and vend your le
cently discovered Hair Restorative, i will slate, for
whomsoever it may concern, that 1 have used it, and
known others to use it—Hint I have, lor several years,
been iu the habit of using other Hair Restoratives, uud
that 1 find yours vastly superior to any other 1 know
It entirely cleanses tlie head of dandruff, and w ith one
mouth's proper use, will restore any persou’s hair to the
original youthful color and texture, giving it a healthy,
soft and glossy appearance; and all tliis, w ithout discol
oring the bands that apply it, or the dress on which ii
drops. 1 would, therefore, recommend its use toeveiy
one desirous ol havinga fine color and texture of hair.
Respectfully, yours, WILSON KING.
St. Louis, June 29. 1853.
PROF. WOOD—
As you are about to prepare and vend your lecefitly
discovered Hair Restorative, and as you request my opin
ion of it, 1 w ill state, that my hair w as, a few months
ago, very gray, and after using two bottles of your Hail
Restorative, it resumed its original color; and since iis
application, all dandruff has disappeared from my head,
and 1 have been troubled with no disagreeable itching ot
the scalp. lam satisfied that those who use it will not
regret it., as it gives the hair tlie appearance of having
been recently oiled. I ant prepared, therefore, to reconi
mend its use to all who are desirous of having a beautiful
head of lmir. I am, sir, yours, etc.
11. L. STEWART.
PROF. WOOD—
Dear Sir—My hair bud, for several years, been l
coining prematurely gray, accompanied by a harshness
which tendered tlie constant application of oil necessary
in dressing it. When 1 commenced using your Hair Res
torutive, about two months ago. I: was in that rendition ;
and having continued its use li. within the last tine,
weeks, it lias turned to its nufi.i..i color, and assumed a
softness and lustre greatly to l>e preferred to those pro
duced by the application of oils or any other piepuration
I have ever used. I regard it as an indispensable article
foe every indy’s toilet, whether io I c used as a Hair Res
torative, or for tlie simple purpose of dressing or beauti
fying the hair. Vcu have peimission to refer to me all
who i iitertain any doubt of its performing all that is
claimed for it. 51118. C. BY.MONDS,

PROF. 0. J. WOOD—
Allow me to attest the virtues and magic powers of
youi Hair Restorative. Three months since, being ex
ceedingly gray, 1 purchas’ and, and soon commenced to use,
two bottles; and it soon began to tell, in restoring the
silver locks to their native color, and the hair, which was
before dry and harsh and falling off', new- became soft
and “glossy, and it ceased falling; the dandruff disap
peared, and tlie scalp lost all the disagreeable itching,
so annoying before, ami now , I not only look, but feel
young again. Respectfully, yours, est .
