C. R. 11. Office, Vandalia, June 21,1854.
PROFESSOR WOOD—
Dour Sir—l tuke pleasure in bearing voluntary tes
timony to the excellence of your Ilair Restorative. Three
months ago my hair was very gray. It is now a dark
brown, (the original color,)smooth and glossy. The only
application I have made to it, lias been the Ilair Resto
rative prepared by you, and which, from the result iu
my own ease, 1 can most cordially recommend to others.
Respectfully, yours, EDW. WOLCOTT.
YlXcennes, la., June 21, 1853.
PROF. 0. .1. WOOD—
As you me about to manufacture and vend your re
cently discovered Ilair Restorative, i will slate, foi
whomsoever it may concern, that 1 have used it, and
known others to use it—that 1 have, for several years,
been in the habit of using ether Ilair Restoratives, and
that 1 find yours vastly superior lo liny other 1 know.
It entirely cleanses tlie head of dandruff, and with one
mouth's proper use, will restore any person’s hair to the
original youthful color and texture, giving it a healthy .
soft and glossy appearance; and all lliis, without discol
oring the hands Hint apply it, or the dress on which it
drops. 1 would, therefore, recommend its use to every
one desirous of huvingu fine color and texture es hair.
Respectfully, yours, W ILSON KING.
St. Louis, June 29,1853.
PROF. W OOD—
As you me about to prepare and vend your recently
discovered Hair Restorative, and us you request my opin
ion of it, 1 w ill state, that my hair was, u lew months

Re. ruiutive, it resumed its original color; and since it
application, all dandruff lias disappeared from my head,
and 1 have been troubled with bo disagreeable itching oi
the scalp. lam satisfied tiiat those who use it will not
regret it. as it, gives the hair the uppenrnnee of having
been recently oiled. 1 urn prepared, therefore, to recoui
mend ira use to all who are desirous of having a beautiful
bead of hair. 1 am, sir, yours, etc.
11. L. STEWART.
PROF. WOOD—
Dear Fir—My hair hail, for several years, been be
coining preniutim ly gray accompanied by a harshness
which tendered tl.e constant application of oil necessary
in dressing it. W lieu 1 commenced using yonr Hair Res

and.having continued its mi- w ithin the lost three
weeks, it has turned to its nan G c lor, ami iissumcd a
softness and lustre grentiy to be picferred to those pro
iluivd by the application of oils i r any ether piepuraliou
I hare eve:- used. 1 regard it as an indispensable article
for every lady’s toilet, whether lo be used us a Ilair lies
locative, or for the simple purpose of dressing or beauti
lying tlie hair. You have peiinissi-Mi to refer to me all
who entertain any doubt Os its performing all that is

two bottles; and it sdon began lo tell, in restoring the
silver locks lo their native color, and the hair, which was
before dry and harsh and falling off. now became soft
and and it ceased falling; the dandruff disap
peared, and the sculp lost all the disugreeahle itching,
so annoying before, and now, 1 not only look, but feel
