See what tho President of tin, Pharmaceutical Society of Missouri, says of liliudua’ Fevei and Ague Cure, or An tidote to Malaria: Si. Louis, Mo., Nov. 10, 1865. HAVING noticed the certificate of chemical analysis givou by the celebrated chemist Dr. J. It. Chilton, of Now York city, in layer of Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure, that it contained neither quinine, Arseuic, Mer curp nor Strychnine, und having received numerous ap plications for it, I was induced to send to Dr. .Rhodes for the medicine. Since then I have disposed of a large qnautity, mostly to residents of t li is city, who have inva riably been cured by it, ami to whom I can refer. 1 am, therefore, satisfied in recommending it to bo all that the proprietor represents. EDWARD 8. WHEATON, ■ Presd’t of Pharmaceutical Society of Missouri. TO Rot tics Perform TO Cures. Constantine, Mich., Sept. 24th, 1865. James A. Rhodes, Esq.—Dear Sir;—l have just sent an order to Amea & Halliduy for another half gross of your Feverand Ague Cure. It has sold like •• llotCakes,” and l have only two bottles on hand. Olio reason it has sold, is because w hen 1 have heard of a ease of Ague or Chill Fever, I have sent a bottle and teld them to try k, and if it did not help them, they were not obliged to pay for it, aud they were all satisfied. 1 had one ease of Chill Fever where it run four days, but the man came to see me on the sixth day well satisfied. Truly yours, JOHN P. GLADDING. Had tile Ague for ‘Twelve Y ears ! Providence, June 29, 1865. Having been informed of the illness of n poor, but worthy w oman, who has not beon fre e from Fever and Ague a month at a time for the lust twelvo years, I sup plieik her gratuitously with Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure. She took in all four bottles which completely re stored her to health and strength, and as four months have umv elapsed, there is no reason to doubt the perma nency of the cure. C. A. P. MABOF, Apothecary. !2-l Battles Perform Ml Cures. Moline, 111., Sept. 24, 1855. Mb. Jambs A. Rhodes—Dear Sir—The box of “ Ague Cure” you sent us Ims all been sold ami created a large demand for more; to meet which wo have ordered from your general agent at Chicago, J. D. Yerriugton. Its sale will only bo equalled by the number of Fever and Ague eases. Hoping these cases tusy bo few, yet have a bottle for every ease. We remain respectfully yours, RICHARDS & ALLEN. Louisville No. 11, C. R. R., Ga., Jan. 1, 1850. Your Ague Cure has overcame all prejudices by its merits, and gi von satisfaction. A gentleman just called who has been fully cured by only one bottle, and de sired me to recommend it to everybody. 1 shall do all I can iu its sale. W. A.IIAYLES. Only Caution. —ln certain specified cases, pour tile contents of one or more bottles of the Cure into shallow vessels, (dining plates,) and place them in sleeping room -; for the vapor rising from the medicine, and also the air wafted across, or circulated over the drugs of it, after the liquid is evaporated, will counteract aud destroy, to a degiee commensurate with its expo sure, the miasmata or poison contained in the apartment. This mode of exhibiting tho Cure should likewise be resorted to when very young infants are exposed to malarious situations. The bottles iu which this medicine is put up have the words, “Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure” blown in the glass, and ou the outside wrapper is the name of the medicine, (the copyright of which is secured) and the signature of the. proprietor. These precautions are taken to prevent counterfeits and imitations. The reliance for its success is entirely upon its actual MERITS, wherever introduced and used. These will be Considered sufficient. THE NORTH BRITISH REVIEW (Free Church). THE WESTMINSTER REVIEW (Liberal). BLACKWOOD’S EDINBURGH MAGAZINE (Tory). THE great and important events—Religious, Political, and Military—now agitating tho nations of the Old World, give to these Publications an interest and value they never before posseased. They occupy a middle ground between the hastily written news items, crude speculations, and flying rumors of the newspaper, and the ponderous Tome of tho historian, written long after the liviug interest in the facta he records shall have passed away. The progreaH of the War ill the East occu pies a largo space iu their pages. Every movement is closely criticised, whether of friend or of 100, aud all short-comings fearlessly pointed out. The letters from the Crimea and from the Baltic in Blackwood's Magazine, from two of its most pupular contributors, give u more intelligible and reliable account of the movements of the great belligerents that can elsewhere be found. These Periodicals ably represent tho three great politF cal parlies of Great Britain—Whig. Tory, and Radical,— but polities forms only one feature of their character.— As Organs of the most profound writers on Science, Lite rature, Murulity, ami Rcligiou, they stand, as they ever have stood, unrivalled in the world of letters, being con sidered indispensable to the scholar aud the professional man, while to the intelligent reader of every class they furnish a more correct and satisfactory record of the cur rent literature of the day, throughout tho world, than eon ho possibly obtained from any other source. Early Copies. The receipt of Advance .S’/iett*lit.in the British publish ers gives additional value to these Reprints, especially during the present exciting state of European nflalrs, in asmuch ua they can now be placed in the hands of sub scribers about as soon as the original editions.
