PROOFS l Sec what tlie President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Missouri, says of Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure, or An tidote to Malaria: St. Louis, Mo.. Nov. ID, 1855. HAVING noticed the certificate of chemical analysis given by llio celebrated chemist Dr. J. U. Chilton, of New York city, in favor of Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure, that it coutained neither Quinine, Arsenic, Jiier eurp nor Strychnine, and having received numerous ap plications for it, I was induced to send to Dr. Rhodes for tire medicine. Since then l have disposed of a large quantity, mostly to residents of this city, who have inva riably been cured by it, and to whom 1 can refer. I am, therefore, satisfied iu recommending it to be all that the proprietor represents. EDWARD S. WHEATON, I’resd’t of Pharmaceutical Society of Missouri. 70 Hot lies Perform 7 0 Cures. Constantine, Mich., Sept. 24th, 1855. James A. Rhodes, Esq.—Dear Sir:—l have just sent an order to Ames & Halliday for another half gross of your Fever and AguoCure. It has sold like“ Hot Cakes,” and I have only two bottles on hand. One reason it has sold, is because when 1 have heard of a ease of Ague or Chill Fever, 1 have sent it bottle and told them to try it, and if it did not help them, they were not obliged to pay for it, and they were all satisfied. I had one ease of Chill Fever where it run four days, but the man came to see me on the sixth day well satisfied. Truly yours, JOHN P. GLADDING. Had the Ague for Twelve Years ! Providence, June 29, 1855. Having been informed of the illness of a poor, but worthy woman, who has not been fro e from Fever and Ague a month at a time for the last twelve years, I sup plied her gratuitously with Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure. She took in all four bottles which completely re stored her to health aud strength, and as four months have now elapsed, there is no reason to doubt the perma nency of tlie cure. 0. A. P. MASOF, Apothecary. 24 Bottles Perform 544 Cures. Moline, 111., Sept. 24, 1855. Mr. James A. Rhodes —Dear Sir—Tlie box of •• Ague Cure” you sent us has all been sold and created a large demand for more; to meet which we have? ordered from your general agent at Chicago, J. D. Yerrington. Its sale will only be equalled by the number of Fever and Ague cases. Hoping these cases may l,e few, yet have a bottle for every case. We remain respectfully yours, RICHARDS 4 ALLEN. Louisville No. 11, C. R. ft., Ga., Jan. 1. 1856. Your Ague Cure lias overcome all prejudices by its merits, and given satisfaction. A gentleman just called who has been fully cured by only one bottle, and de sired me to recommend it to everybody, i shall do all I can in its sale. W. A. 11 AYLES. Only Caution.—ln certain specified cases, pour the contents of one or more bottles of tlie Cure into shallow vessels, (dining plates, i and place them in sleeping rooms; for the vapor rising from the medicine, and also the air wafted across, or circulated over the dregs of it, after tlie liquid is evaporated, will counteract aud destroy, to a degiee commensurate with its expo sure, tlie miasmata or poison contained in tlie apartment. This mode of exhibiting the Cure should likewise he resorted to when very young infants are exposed to malarious situations. The bottles in which this medicine is put up have tho words, “Rhodes’ Fever and Aoue Cure” blown in the glass, and on the outside wrapper is the name of tlie medicine, (tlie copyright of which is secured) and tlie signature of the proprietor. These precautions are taken to prevent counterfeits and imitations. The reliance for its success is entirely upon its actual merits, wherever introduced and used. These will he considered sufficient.
