See what the President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Missouri, says of Rhodes’ Fevei mid Ague Cure, or An tidote to Malaria: Sx. Louis, Mo., Nov. 10, 1855. HAVING noticed the certificate of chemical analysis given by the celebrated i liemist Dr. J. it. Chilton, of New York city, in saver of Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure, that it contained neither Quinine, Arsenic, Mer curp nor Strychnine, uud having received numerous ap plications for it, I \vi\i induced lo send to Dr. Rhodes for tlie medicine. Since then 1 have disposed of a largo quantity, mostly to residents of this city, who have inva riably been cured by it, aud to whom 1 cun refer. I am, therefore, satisfied in recommending it to bo all that tlie proprietor represents. EDWARD S. WnEATON, Presd’t of Pharmaceutical Society of Missouri. 70 Bottles Perform 70 Cures. Constantin k, Mich., Sept. 24th, 1855. Jamcs A. Rhodes, Esq.—Dear Sir:—l have just sent an order to Ames A Ualliday for another half gross of your Fever aud Ague Cure. It has sold like “ llotCakes,” and I have only two bottles on hand. Olio reason it has sold, is because when I have heard of a case of Agne or Chill Fever, 1 have sent a bottle and teld them to try it, and if it did not help them, they were not obliged to pay for it, and they wero all satisfied. 1 had one ease of Chill Fever whore it run four days, but the man came to see me on tlie sixth dav well satisfied. Truly yours, JOHN P. GLADDING. Had tlie Ague for Twelve Years ! Providence, June 29, 1855. Having been informed of the illness of a poor, but worthy woman, who lias not been fro e from Fever and Ague a month at a time for tlie last twelve years, 1 sup plied her gratuitously witli Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure. She took in all four bottles which completely re stored tier to health and strength, and as four months have now elapsed, there is no reason to doubt tlie pernio, lienoy of the cure. C. A. P. MASOF, Apothecary. 24- Hot ties Perforin 24 Cures. Moline, 111., Sept. 24, 1855. Mp.. James A. Rhodes —Dear Sir—The box of “ Ague Cure” you sent us has all been sold and created a large demand for more; to meet which we have ordered from your general agent at Chicago, J. D. Yerrington. Its sale w iii only be equalled by the number of Fever and Ague cases. Hoping these cases may be few, yet have a bottle for every case. We remain respectfully yours, RICHARDS & ALLEN. Louisville No. 11, C. R. R., Ga., Jan. 1, 1856. Your Ague Cure has overcome all prejudices by its merits, and given satisfaction. A gentleman just called who has been fully cured by only ono bottle, and de sired me to recommend it to everybody. I shall do all I can in its sale. W. A. HAYLES. Only Caution.—ln certain specified cases, pour tlie contents of one or more bottles of tlie Cure into shallow vessels, (dining plates,) and place them in sleeping rooms; for the vapor rising from the medicine, aud also tlie air wafted across, or circulated over the dregs of it, after the liquid is evaporated, will counteract aud destroy, to a degiee commensurate with its expo sure, the miasmata or poison contained in the apartment. This mode of exhibiting the Cure should likewise be resorted to when very young infants are exposed to malarious situations. Tlie bottles in which this medicine is put up have the words, “Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure” blown in the glass, and on the outside wrapper is the name of the medicine, (the copyright of which is secured) and tlie signature of the proprietor. These precautions are taken to prevent counterfeits and imitations. Tiie reliance for its success is entirely upon its actual merits, wherever introduced and used. These will be considered sufficient. Prepared and sold by the proprietor, JAMES A. RHODES, Providence, R. I, For sale in Columbus by KIVLIN, THOMAS & CO., February lo 1856. ly Druggists. A. K.
