PROOFS l See what tho President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Missouri, says of Rhodes’ Fevei and Ague Cure, or An tidote to Malaria; St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 18, 1855. IJAYING noticed the certilicato of chemical analysis XI given by the celebrated chemist Dr. .1. U. Chilton, of New York city, in saver of Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure, that it contained neither (quinine, Arsenic, Jier curp nor Strychnine, aud having received numerous ap plications for it, I was induced to send to l)r. .Rhodes for tlie medicine. Since then J have disposed of a large quantity, mostly to residents of this city, who have inva riably been cured by it, and to whom 1 can refer. 1 am, therefore, satisfied in recommending it to be all that the proprietor represents. EDWARD S. WHEATON, Presd’t of Pharmaceutical Society of Missouri. 70 Bottles Perform 70 Cares. Constantins. .Uieh., Sept. 24th, 1855. Jam us A. Rhodes, Esq.—Dear Sir:—l have just sent an order to Ames k Holliday for another half gross of your Fever and Ague Cure, it has sold like “ llot Cakes,” and I have only two bottles ou hand. One reason it has sold, is because when 1 have heard of a case of Ague or Chill Fever, 1 have sent a bottle and telil them to try it, and if it did not help them, they were not obliged to pay for it, and they were all satisfied. 1 had one ease of Chill Fever where it run four days, but the man came to see me on tho sixth day well satisfied. Truly yours, JOHN P. GLADDING. Had tlie Ague for Twelve Years! Providence, June 29, 1855. Having been informed of tho illness of a poor, but worthy woman, who has not been fro efroui Fever and Ague a month at a time lor the last twelve years, I sup plied her gratuitously with Rhodes’ P'over and Ague Cure. She took in all four bottles which completely re stored her to health and strength, and a.- four months have now elapsed, there is no reason to doubt the perma nency of the cure. C. A. P. MASOF, Apothecary. *4 Bottles Perform 44 Cures. Moline, 111., Sept. 24, 1855. Mr. Jambs A. Rhodes—Dear Sir—The box of “Ague Cure” you sent us has all been sold and created a large demand for mure; to meet which we have ordered from your general agent at Chicago, J. D. Yerrington. Its sale will only be equalled by the number of Fever aud Ague cases. Hoping these cases uiay be tew, yet have a bottle for every case. We remain respectfully yours, RICHARDS & ALLEN. Louisville No. 11, C. R. K., Ga., Jan. 1, 1856. Your Ague Cure lias overcome all prejudices by its merits, and given satisfaction. A gentleman just called who has been fully cured by only one bottle, anil de sired me to recommend it to everybody. I shall do all I can in its sale. W. A. IIAYLES. Only Caution. —In certain specified cases, pour the contents of one or more bottles of the Cure into shallow vessels, (dining plates, and place them in sleeping rooms; for the vapor rising from tho medicine, aud also the air wafted across, or circulated over the dregs of it, after the liquid is evaporated, will counteract aud destroy, to a degree commensurate with its expo sure, the miasmata or poison contained in the apartment. This mode of exhibiting the Cure should likewise be resorted to when very young infants are exposed to malarious situations. The bottles in which this medicine is put up have the words, “Rhodes’ Fever and Aoue Cure” blown in the glass, and on the outside wrapper is the name of the medicine, (the copyright of which is secured) and the signature of the proprietor. These precautions are taken to prevent counterfeits and imitations. The reliance for its success is entirely upon its actual merits, wherever introduced and used. These will be considered sufficient.
