PROOFS 1 See what the President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Missouri, says of Rhodes’ Perm anil Ague Cure, or An tidote to Malaria: ST. Louis, Mo., Nov. 10, ISW>. HAVING noticed the certificate of chemical analysis given by the Celebrated chemist Dr. J. It. Chilton, of New’ York city, in favor of Rhodes’ F’ever and Ague Cure, that it contained ueither Quinine, Arsenic, Mor curp nor Strychnine, and having received numerous ap plications for it, I was induced to send to Dr.. Rhodes for tlie medieiuo. Since then l have disposed of a large quantity, mostly to residents of thiscity, who have inva riably been cured by it, and to whom I cau refer. T am, therefore, satisfied in recommending it to lie all that the proprietor represents. EDWARD S. WIIEATON, Presd’t of Pharmaceutical Society of .Missouri. 70 Bottles Perform 70 Cures. Constantine, Mich., Sept. 24th, 1855. James A. Rhodes, Esq.—Dear Sit:—i have just sent an order to Ames & Ualliday for uuothcr hall gross of your F'ever and Ague Cure. It has sold like “ Hot Cakes,” and I have only two bottles on band. One reason it has sold, is because whon 1 have beard of a case of Ague or Chill Fever, I have sent a bottle and teld them to try it, and if it did not help them, they were not obliged to pay for it, and they were all satisfied. 1 had one • casp of Chill F'ever whore it run four days, but the man came to see me on tlie sixth day well satisfied. Truly yours, JOHN I*. GLADDING. Had the Ague for Twelve Years ! Providence, June 29. 1855. Having been informed of the illness of a poor, but worthy woman, who has not been fre e from F’ever and Ague a month at a time for the last twelve years, I sup plied her gratuitously with Rhodes’ F'ever and Ague Cure. She took iu all four bottles which completely re stored her to health and strength, and as four months have now elapsed, there is no reason to donut the perma nency of the cure. C. A. P. MASOF', Apothecary. 24 Bottles Perform 24 Cures. Moline, 111.. Sept. 24, 1855. Mn. James A. Rhodes —Dear Sir —The box of “ Ague Cure” yon sent us hits all been sold anil created a large demand for more; to meet which wo have ordered from your general ageut at Chicago, J. D. Yevrington. Its sale will only be equalled by the number of Fever and Ague cases. Hoping these cases may be few, yet hare a bottle for every ease. We remain respectfully yours, RICHARDS & ALLEN. Louisville No. 11, C. It. lb, (Ml, Jan. 1, 1860. Your Ague Cure has overcome all prejudices by its merits, and given satisfaction. A gentleman just called who has been fully cured by only one bottle, and de sired mo to recommend it to everybody. I shall do’ all I can in its sale. • W. A.HAYLES. Only Caution.—ln certain specified cases, pour the contents of one or more bottles of the Cure into shallow vessels, (dining plates, j and place them in sleeping rooms; for the vapor rising from the medicine, and also the air wafted across, or circulated over tlie dregs of it, after the liquid is evaporated, will counteract aud destroy, to a degiee commensurate with its expo sure, the miasmata or poison contained in the apartment. This mode of exhibiting the Cure should likewise bo resorted to when very young infants are exposed to malarious situations. The bottles iu which this medicine is put up have the words, “Rhodes’ F'ever and Ague Cure” blown in tlie glass, and on the outside wrapper is the name of the medicine, (the copyright of which is secured) and tlie signature of the proprietor. These precautions are taken to prevent counterfeits and imitations. The reliance for its success is entirely upon its actual merits, wherever introduced and used. These will be considered sufficient.
