was arrested by the military authorities.

Killing or Nxuao Soldikbv.-— We
understand tbat a tatal affray occurred in
a danoe house in the Bouthwestern part
of town on Friday night, in whioh four
negro soldiers were aided and sevetal
others badly wounded. Our informant
eays that a ball was given by a lot of
negro soldiers which several white sol
diers visited, when the latter were re
fused adaiiuanee. The whites went off
but soon isturned In a large foroe when a
general row ooourred, resulting in the
killing and wounding as above stated.

Cotton in Florida on the Ist of April
