LOUIM OFFON GOELICKR,
OF GIKMANY.
The greatest of Ifuv/an Hens factors ! !
Citizens of North and South America;
To Louis Uffon Goeiicke, M, U, of Germany,
(Europe,) belongs the imperishable honor of adding
anew and precious doctrine to the science of medi
cine,—# diM-.trine, which, though vehemently opposed
by many of the faculty (of which lie is a valuable
member,) be proves to be us well founded in truth, us
any doctrine of Holy Writ,—a doctrine, upon the
verity of which are suspended the lives of millions of
our race, and which he boldly challenges lus opjlo
sers to refute, viz., Consumption is a disease always
occasioned by a disordered state of the Vis Vine (or
Life-Principle) of the, human body—f~)poften secretly
lurking in the system for years, before there is the
least complaint of the tungsjpF—and which may be
as certainly, though not so quickly, cured as a com
mon cold or a simple headuenc. An invaluably pre
cious doctrine this, an it imparts an important lesson
to the apparently healthy of both sexes, teaching
them that this insidious foe may be an unobserved
inmate of their “clayey houses,” even while they
imagine themselves secure from its attacks, teaching
them that the great secret in the art of preserving
health is to pluck out the disease while, in the blade,
and not wait till the full-grown car.
Appended below are a few certificates of cures
from the extremely numerous list that has lieen sent
to the proprietor ; nnd from the respectability of the
sources from which they emanate, the most skeptical
cannot doubt of tlw wonderful effects of this medi
cine.
Post Kingston, N. Y. Jtily SI, l#3B.
Dr. Rowland Bir—The effects of the GcrinunHau
ttii\e are great in this piece. One, woman that was
in a deep Consumption, and who had lceii In contin
ued night sweats for seven months, now considers
herself well. Bhe took no other medicine but the
Sanative. Another case—a man that wits taken
bleeding at the Lungs till lie could not ruise himself
in his bed, has been restored to tierfect health by the
Sanative. JOHN V. TILBURGH, P M
Post Office. Charlotte, N, O. June 15, 1838.
Sir—l have sold ull the Sanative and want two
packages more immediately. It has performed a re
markable cure of palpitation of the heart, nnd the in
dividual says it is the best medicine ever offered to
the American people—although the Doctors are try
ing to put it down. H. B WILLIAMS, V M
Post Office, North Eaton, Ohio, July *2, 1838
Sir—l am entirely out of the Matchless Sanative,
and have hourly calls for it—many from a distance
of 20 or 30 milea- in which cases people are much
disappointed in not being aide to obtain it. They
seem willing to give any price for It, and 1 could have
sold the past week more than one hundred dollars
worth of it, had it been on hand. It is truly grea
medicine. Many in this vicinity are fast recovering
fVotn tlw consumption by the use of it.

Sir—A most wonderful eure'has lately been effect
ed, through the virtues of Dr. tlneliek's Sanative, iu
the case of an elderly gentleman, who was far gone
and wasted away in Consumption, and considered
