on tlie twenty-fourth dav of November, one thou
sand, eight hundred and forty-six, Warren Whitlow,
then of said county, executed his contract or bond in
writing, and then and there delivered the same to j our
petitioner, which i* now of file in the Clerk’s office of
this Court, whereby he bound himself to execute unto
your petitioner, good and lawful titles to that part of
the tract of laml, whereon said Warren then lived, ly
ing on the west side of the road leading from Watkins-
ville to IliU-nuan's Mills, on the Appalachee River.—
And, your petitioner further shewetb that the last pay
ment "for said land law been made, and the conditions of
