A lettter in the Madison (Wiscon
sin) Argus says—at least so reports a
Milwaukee.correspondent of a Hartford
pAper—that another large rnvo has re
cently been explored near Madison, by
Mr. Hovvel Lumley, a member of the
late Legislature, and four other gentle
men. The party were in the cave five
•lays, and finally emerged by another
opening than that hy which they enter-

accuracy of detail respecting the di
mensions of the cave, which is spoken
being in one part seventy feet
high, and as having greal
