FTIIIE Officers and Soldiers, who
" performed Military services for
the protection of the Frontiers of
the Slate of Georgia, in the year, one
thousand seven hundred ninety-two,
three and four, are hereby notified,
that Congress has passed a law, and
has appropriated a sum oi inonev,
agreeably to the estimates of the
amount due, mad' by Capt. Constant
Treeman, to pav and satisfy them
for those services, the payments to
bb m .de under the direction of the
Secretary of War. In pursuance of
which, the Secretary of War, has ap
pointed me the Ag- nt of the govnrn
tne >t, to settle and pay cti those
claims.—All persons interested as
aforesaid, are requested to have
their discharges from the proper of-
Jiccrs and vouchers, in readiness f< r
settlement. I shall attend at my
office', in the City oi' Augusta, in the
mouths of April and May, to receive
all amounts that may be presented
within the vicinity of that place, af
ter which, 1 shall visit the diflurent
counties m the State, giving special
hoticc of the same, so us to afford
evi-rv facility to the claimants the
opportunity to adjust and settle their
claims, with convenience to them
selves.
