Bacon.-—Hie stock of prime - meats is nearly
exhausted, and holders are filling none but small
orders for planters supplies. Clear ribbed sides have
advanced, and will rule high till the new crop comes in.
Wo quote shoulders at 14#@16c, rib sides at
17@17 )*c, and clear ribbed at 19c. 'There are
few clear sides offering, and prices are ‘nomi
nal at 18%@18%c. Hama are in large stock,
at 10@18c according , to quality. Breakfast bicon
Is quiet, with a downward ,, tendency, at 19@20c. Dry,
salted meats are in better demand. "We quote shoul
ders at 13@lSXc; short clear aides, 17@17J£c; short
