The subscriber
XIPILL dispose of four or five LOTS on bis Piedmont
f v residence, about two miles below Darien, contain
ing tw o hundred and ten feet front, and three hundred
back—either on a building lease, or otherwise. The
situation of those Lots, as it regards the advantage of a
retreat during the summer months, and its contiguity to
1); rien, with the repeated health experienced thereon,
is so well known, that it needs but little said—and in ad
dition to that object, health, it has a spring of water of
an excellent quality—and the view extensive and com
manding, open to Doboy Bar—and in addition to those
the sociefcv in the neighborhood is agreeable.

~SUMMER RETREAT.
STJHE undersigned informs the ladies and gentlemen
<4l of the low country of Georgia, that he will be pre
pared to receive genteel persons at Ijis residence on
Sapelo Island during the summer and fall months, and
that no exertion on his part wall be wanting to render
their situation convenient and agreeable. His house is
large, and the apartments well furnished and numerous,
all open to the ocean. Shell and scale fish and venison
are plenty in the neighborhood, and shall be at times
furnished. Carriages, chairs and horses to run on tiie
beach he will likewise supply,

k BBENTED from the plantation of James Moore,
l\. (one of the undersigned) on the 23d of December
last, a Negro Wench, named < ELIA, and on the 11th
January following, a negro man, named JACK, both
belonging to the estate of Mrs. Martha Row ell, deceas
ed. Fifty dollar’s reward w ill be given for the appre
hension of each or either of said negroes on deliverv to
one of the subscribers and all reasonable expenses paid.
As it is believed said negroes have been inveigled or
stolen from the premises aforesaid, the further sum of
one hundred dollars will be paid for proof to convic
tion of the offender.
Celia is about thirty-five years of age, African born,
speaks rather bad English, and in a very peculiar man
ner; but is otherwise smart and shrewd. On being
spoken to, she has the singular habit of throwing up
her head w ith a disdainful air. IACK, her husband,
between forty and forty-five years of age, about five
feet eight inches high, steady and sedate in Ins man
ners, one upper tooth lost, and some country marks.—
Both of said negroes, it is believed, are branded on the
breast with the letter M.
