FiNHE Letting proposed to take place on the 7th
X proximo, of the Grading of the Georgia Rail
road above Madison,is postponed untii the 24th of

heavy sections crossing the valley of the Alcovy

sion will be divided into terms of eleven weeks
each commencing on the 2d Monday of November,
the 4th in January, and the 3d in April.
There will be two Departments, the Juvenile
and Senior. Tne former will embrace instruction
in Reading, Spelling, Writing, the first principles
of Arithmetic, Geography and History, together
with such oral instruction on scientific, moral and
religious subjects as is calculated to expand tho
mind and improve the heart. The latter will em
brace a thorough course of instruction in all the
branches of an English education, usually taught
in our higher schools and seminaries.

given by competent and improved teachers.
