I Flour. —Howard street Flour —There has been a
■toady advance in the store price of Howard street
I’lour for the last two weeks. On this day week

Early in the present week the store price advanced
to ■-.5, and the transaclians up to this morning were
pretty uniform at that price for good common
frauds. This morning, however, a further im
provement had taken place, and we note sales of

receipts are extremely light and the stock in mar
ket reduced very low, although the sales arc chief
ly confined to small lots for city consumption. We

1 Biennia! as they may lavor the meeting of the
Legislature every year, or once in two years: and

Marshall’s old yard, near the upper end of the
city, one hundred thousand bricks, now ready for
delivery', and expect to keep a constant supply on
band. The bricks are of a good quality, and will
be furnished at the lowest prices as to each quality
can be made. 1 have in service good mechanics,
and will take contracts for any sort ol brick-work
at reduced rates. Solomon Basford, from whom I
have purchased the on this brick-yard, and
utensils connected with it, is my agent for conduct

clined to the left; with a long thick tail. He had
