Cotton.— I The market has been rather dull this
■week particularly during the latter part of it. The
sates for the week ending last evening amounted
to about 4400 hales, of which 2500 were Upland
and Florida at 9i a 114 cents ; 900 Mobile at !lj a
1 J A, with a few at 12 a 13, and 1000 New Orleans
,at lb a 13. in prices there is no material chauget
since Saturday last, but holders are very firm.
To day there is rather more doing, and the sales
thus faramount to about 1000 bales. There is the
same stiff feeling on the part of sellers.
Flour. —The market has presented but lew
features of interest during the present week.—
Canal Flour has remained firm throughout at $5
for common to $5 OGJ a $5 I2J tar better brands.
The stock of canal is now about 7000 barrels.
Sales of Ohio via New Orleans at $4,87A, and ol
Georgetown and Howard street at $4,75. The bn
siness generally was dull, and the sales of all de
scriptions were limited.
Money Market.— The money market continues
to be abundantly supplied. Negotiations ofVl de
scriptions are more easily effected and at favora
ble lates, and no reason Is apparent why money
should not coniine plentiful for some time to come,
Transactions is dameatic exchanges are compara
