FACTS CANNOT BE DOUBTED.
§gp'“ Let the Afflicted Heed and Ponder.— More
than 500 persons in the city of Richmond, Va., alone testi
fy to the remarkable cures performed by CARTER’S SPAN.
ISH MIXTURE. The great Spring Medicine and Purifier
of the Blood is now used by hundreds of grateful patients,
who testify daily to the remarkable cures performed by the
greatest of all medicine, Carter’s Spanish Mixture. Neu
ralgia, Rheumatism.Scrofula, Eruptions on the Skin, Liver
Disease, Fevers, Ulcers, Old Sores, Affections of the Kid
neys, Diseases of the Throat, Female Complaints, Pains and
Aching of the Bones and Joints, are speedily put to flight
by using tliis great and inestimable remedy.
For all diseases of the Blood, nothing has yet been found
to compare with it. It cleanses the system of all impuri
ties, acts gently and efficiently on the Liver and Kidneys,
Strengthens the digestion, gives tone to the stomach, makes
the Skin clear and healthy, and restores the Constitution,
enfeebled by disease or broken down by the excesses of
youth, to its pristine vigor and strength.
For the Ladles, it Is incomparably better than all the
cosmetics ever used. A few doses of Carter’s Spanish
Mixture will remove all sallowness of compaction, bring
the roses mantling to the cheek, give elasticity to the step
and improve the general health in a remarkable degree
beyond a'l the medicines ever heard of.
A large number of certificates of remarkable cures per
formed on persons redding in the city of Richmond, Va.,
by the use of Carter’s Spanish Mixture, is the best evidence
that there is no humbug about it. The press, hotel-keej*
ers, magistrates, pbys'cians, and public men, well known
to the community, all add their testimony to the effects of
this Great Blood Purifier.
Call and see a hundred of the certificates around the
b ottle.

COMMERCIAL NIGHT SCHOOL.
T'-HK subscriber informs his patrons and the public in
general, that the exercises of his Commercial School
will be continued regularly at the MASONIC HALL, where
will be taught the science of Book-Keeping, by double or sin
gle entry, with all the varied forms of Accounts, Accounts
Current, Interest Accounts, Bills ot Exchange, Ac., Penman
ship, Arithmetic of Federal Money aDd Foreign Curren
cy, preparatory to entering into the Mercantile line, or
otherwise. The importance cf such a School, in so large a
mercantile population as Augusta, must be obvious to
every reflecting mind. Science has been well defined,
knowledge reduced to order, and so classified and ar
ranged, as to be easily remembered, readily referred to,
and advautageously apDlied. How many young men and
youths enter into business without the requisite knowledge
of accounts, and often give their services a year or more
for a trifling compensation, to acquire the knowledge that
a few weeks or months’study would accomplish, thereby
qualifying themselves to obtaia an adequate remunera
tion for their services. For terms, Ac., apply at the Family
Grocery Store of A. Saba), Esq., next door to Mr. John
Bones’ Hardware store, or at my residence, upper end
