I>R. UTILE’S
VERMIFUGE.
• la LARGE Bottles and Vials.
Nothing else is required to relieve children of
Worms. and besides being one of the cheapest and
Dest Vermifuges ever offered to the public. Its fre
quent use in families will save much trouble and
sxpense, as well as the lives of many children-—for
eight out of every teu cases generally require it.
MTTEE’S
;ANODYNE COUGH DROPS.
A. certain cvre for Colds , Coughs, Bronchitis,
Asthma. Pain in the Breast ; also Croup,
Wkoepinff Coughs, Ac., Ac ,
amongst Children.
This is a pleasant medicine to take, produaing im
mediate relief, and in nine out of ten cases s prompt
cure. It exercises the most controlling influence
over Coughs and Irritation of the Lungs of any ro
lnedv known, often stopping the iflost violent in a
few hours, or at most in a day or two. Many cases
thought to be decidedly consumptive, have been
promptly cured by using a few bottles. As anodyne
expectorant, without astringing the bowels, it stands
paramount to all cough mixtures.
LITTLE’S
FRENCH MIXTURE.
This is prepared from a French Recipe (in the
forms of No. I and 2; the first for tho acute, and
No. 2 for the chronic stage,) and from its unexampled
success is likely to supersede every other remedy
for the cure of diseases es the Kidneys aud Bladder,
Gonorrhoeal. Blennorrhoeal, aud Leuchorrhoeal or
Fluor Alims affections. This extensive compound
combines properties totally different in taste and
character from any thing to he found in the United
Mates Pharmacopoeia ; aud in point of safety and effi
ciency is not rivalled in America.
LITTLE' S
RINGWORM & TETTER OINTMENT.
FORTIS, No. 2.
Hundreds of cases of Chronic Tetters, Scald Heads,
and diseases of the skin generally, have been cured
by this remedy; aud since the introduction of the
No. 2 preparation (being stronger) scarcely a case
has been found that it will not effectually eradicate
in a short time. For the cure of Cancerous Sores
and Ulcers it is applied in the form of plasters, aud
is almost infallible.
In more than two hundred rlaces in Georgia, and
in the Southern States, they are to be had , aud as
there are scamps about who are counterfeiting his
remedies, by palming off their own or something
else, by using the same or similar uaiues (for no pa
tent is wanted or secured amid the absurd patents of
tho day,) let all be cautioned to look well for tho
signature of the Proprietor, thus:—
and also his name blown into the glass of each bottle.

THE LIVER
INVIGORATO It
PREPARED BY DR. SANFORD.
Compounded entirely from Gums,
IS one of the best purgatives and Laver Medicines now
before the public, that acts as a Cathartic, easier
milder, and more effectual than ary other medicine
known. It is not on'y a Cathartic, but a Laver remedy,
acting first on the Liver to « ject it, morbid matter, then
on the stomach and bowels to carry off that matter, thus
accomplishing! wo purposes effectually, without any of
the painful feelings experienced in the operations of
most Cathartics. It strengthens the system at the same
time that it purges it; and when taken daily in modcr
ats doses, will strengthen and build it up with unusual
rape’ty.

FOR
demising, Nourishing & Beautifying
THE HAIR.
IN presenting the BALM OF SAVANNAH to the
public, the proprietor does so without any of the
hesitation attending the introduction of a new a rid un
tried article, for it has now been fifteen years before the
public, and each year haa added to its popularity Tie
demand for it having increased so far beyond wy pre
vious facilities for its manufacture, the proprietor hi-? r.-
cently completed arrangements for producing it on a
more extensive scale, and at the ?ame time adding to its
former excellence, by the result of r. long practical ex
perience in its use.
The following vouchers are gentlemen well known
and can be attested :
Savannah, August .1, 1853.
,T M. Haywood, Agent—Dear Sir: 1 cheerfully
comply with my promise, to give you my opinion ol the
merits of your Balm of Savannah. After uhiug it for
some two years, I am prepared to speak from experience
and do not hesitate t>> pronounce it the best prepara
tiou for the hair that 1 have ever used. For several
years 1 had antlered from dandruff, which, at times, es
pecially daring bad health, threatened to destroy my
hair I t ried many remedies, which bad be n recom
mended to mo, without benefit, until i made a trial of
your Kahn, which not only removed the dandruff, but
kept my head free from it, at the same time stimulating
the growth of the hair and imparting to it a healthy ap
pearance. I have recommended it to my friends, simi
larly afflicted, who, in every instance, experienced simi
for benefits from its use. I esteem it a pleasant and
convenient article for dress’ng the hair, possessing most
la the virtues claimed tor the popular cosmetics of tho
day, with none of their deleterious qualities. 1 feel con
fident that it only needs to be known to the public to
become universally popular.
Very respectfully yours,
W. T Thompson,
Editor of Savannah Morning News.
To ai.l whom it may concern :
The object of this is to state that I have, for some
months, used Mr. Haywood’s Hair Tonic—known as
the Balm of Savannah—and have found it incomparably
superior to any other article of the kind. Its use twice
a week is quite sufficient, not only to disengage the
dandruff, ate, from the hair, but to prevent its formation
in any applicable quantity. It maintains ti e hur too,
in that moist and pleasant condition, which so many
other specifics pretend to do, but almost always fail- in
ao far as my experience goes. J. L. LoCKF,
Late Editor of the Savannah Republican.
May 26, 1853.
Mr. J. M Haywood, Agent : It gives me pleasure to
certify to the unequalled qualities of your Balm of >Sa
vannah. It is the best tonic for the hair, as well as the
most effectual exterminator of dandruff 1 have ever tried
My hair has been inclined t; fall out sirce my attack of
Yellow Fever in 1854, and among all the preventives I
have tried, the Balm of Savannah has been tUo most
successful. This much I say most cheerfully.
Yours, Ac, ' P. W. Alexander,
Late Ed : tor of the -Savannah Republican.
