them, not being pundual in their, engagements, have
to requefl that if not in their power at present to
pay, they will call and liquidate their accounts,

thereon for the year 1795.
TWO hundred acres on the waters of Hardin*s
ereek, joining Harper and vacant when fur•
veyed, Granted to George Gray.
Also , 100 acres on the waters of Rockey creek,
joining lands of P. Combs and the heirs Hendricks ;
taken as land in default , as the property of John
Wingfield, deceased.
Also, 300 acres on the waters of Little river, join
ing lands of Hopkins and John Garrett ,* taken as
land in default, as the property of Garr and Bankes.
Also, 200 acres , or as much thereof as will pay
the tax and cofl, the property of Brice Collins, per
major Few, on the waters of Lick creek, joining’
lands of Jackson and Chandler.

uniation of the river Savannah has occaftoned
in the town of Augujla, and the calamities which a
like misfortune may bring on it iii future, will, it
is hoped, induce the <itizens of this fate to give

r I "HE fubferiber informs the public;
that having become the proprietor of the Taw
mills formerly belonging to Zachariah Cox, Esq.
on Ohoopie river, he will want some few sober
and induitrious men, acquainted with the cutting,
sawing or rafting of lumber; likewise a certain
number of smart negroes. Any j erfon wiftiing to
engage himfelf or his negroes may expert to be
paid punctually every quarter, by applying to Mr.
John Howaid at the Ohoopie saw mills, who is
empowered by the fubferiber to engage the neces
sary hands, and whose engagements in that refpeft
will be affirmed and made vaMd by
JAMES GREENLEAF.

Stop the ungrateful Wretch.
RUN AWAY, last Saturday night from m* 9
John Jenkins , who hath by his own consent
bound himfelf an apprentice to me to learn the baking
buftnefs, and as soon as he had learnt the ferrets of
my bufmefs he left me. John Jenkins is about 2 z
years of age or upwards according to his own mother’s
account , dark complexion, black hair and black eyes*
Whoever takes up the said John Jenkins, ftialt have
a reward of go dollars if brought to me at Savannah
paid by me
