feet, five or fix inches high, black and v
well made, has loft one or two of hit up
per foreteeth, which is very perceivable
when he attempts to speak, especially as
he has a stoppage in his fpcech, and when
hurried, will draw down his eye-lids and
twist his mouth open, before he can utter
his words j he has a down look, and at
times pretends to religion, about thirty
tour or five years cf age, Was railed by
Mrs. Wright, in Liberty county, and
conveyed to me by General Gunn, in
1787 or 88 —At which time, he was a lad,
and had ran from Gunn, and got up about j
Mrs. Willis’* plantation, on Ray's creek,
in Richmond county, in which neighbor
hood he may now be, though it is foggeft
ed, that some evil difpoled perfen may
have conveyed him off, and that he may
he lodged some where on Cuffcctown, in
South Carolina, or down about the Salt
Ketches, or some where on the direction
between Savannah and CharleftotJ, or per
haps in Hancock county, Georgia.—The
above reward will be paid to any unfnfpeft
ed perlon that will deliver the laid negro
man to the fubfetiber, living neat; tfie
mouth of the Kioka creek, sixteen miles
above Augusta, in the county aforefaid; or
that will fafelv fccure him in any public
Jail of this ft ate, or South-Carolina, or _
that will give such intelligence of him, that *{,
will enable me to get him again.

ation cannot admit cf his continuing in the
city longer than the firft of January, 1805.
He also informs his friend*, that he will
return to bufinefa here, early in next
Spring. He returns his sincere thanks for
their former favors. He can be fecn at
Mr. Ashton’s every day at 11 o’clock, pre
