Rev. Arthur H. Brook has ac
cepted a call to North Platte,
Neb., and left recently for that
place. During the fifteen months
in which he was rector of the
Episcopal church in LaGrange,
he made hosts of friends, and all
regret to lose him. He was faith
ful to the church and a man of
great power for good.
Mr. W. H. Partridge, a promi
nent farmer of Odessadale, was in
town yesterday, visiting his wife,
who was operated on Tuesday at
the sanatorium. Mrs. Partridge
is doing nicely.

days ago to South LaGrange and
is employed at Unitv Mills. Mr.
AdamB has served five years ut
the LaGrange Mills, and one year
with Callaway’s Department
Stores. During this time he has
built up a magnificent record for
honesty and integrity as well as
faithful performance of duty. He
leaves LaGrange Mills with much
regret, but thinks the change will
be to his benefit.
