Sunday morning at ten o’clock
the funeral services of Mrs. H. B.
Lane wore held ot the Methodist
church, Rev. M. S. Williams
preaching the sermon. Mrs.
Lane, being a modest, retiyug
disposition, one had to be well ac
quainted with her to know her
real worth.
Mrs. Lane before her marriage
was Miss Eloise Jones, and site
comes of an illustrious family,
being the granddaughter of Rev.
Dabney P. Jones whose name was
s*"* closely identified with early
Methodism in G<«rgm.
She leaves a devoted husband,
one brother, W r . Lee Jones, of
this place, and one sister, Mrs.
Anderson, of West Point, and a
host of other relatives to mourn
her departure.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Askew, of
Newnan. were present at the fu
neral of Mrs. Lane.
Mr. W. F. Copeland, of Lodi,
relative of Mr. H. B. Lane was
peseut at the funeral of Mrs.
Lane.
