Dr. J. C. Hardy made a profes
sional visit to Chipley yesterday.
Rev. M. H. Kak es and wife are
attending the Bible convention at
Oxford. They will he home by
the middle or last of this week,
and will start, a series of meetings
next. Sunday at 11 o'clock. We
are looking for great blessing dur
ing our week’s meeting ns wo feel
that the Lord is on our side, and
if we will only do our part (which
by the help of God we are going
to do) we will have a great re
vival. We feel that we have been
wonderfully blessed this year as
our church seems to be in a pros
perous condition now, for which
we give the praise to the Lord,
our true pastor and faithful Sun
day school superintendent.
The Epworth League at South
LaGrange M. E. Church will meet
next Sunday at 8:80 o’clock. All
the officers, members and those

Benevolent Association.
The ladies of the city have or
ganized themselves into a benevo
lent association to be known as
The Woman’s Curistian Benevo
lent Association of LaGrange.
It is non-sectarian aud they cor
dially invite every woman in the
city to join them in furthering
the purpose for which they have
organized.
They held their first meeting
after organizing on last Tuesday
afternoon. As all the churches
and sections of the city were not
