‘The
Food Value
of a Soda Cracker
You have heard that some foods furnish fat,
other foods make muscle, and still others are
tissue building and heat forming.
You know that most foods have one or more
of these element*, but do you know that no
food contains them all in such properly balanced
proportions as a good soda cracker ?
The United States Government report shows
that soda crackers contain less water, are
richer in the muscle and fat elements, and
have a much higher per cent of the tissue
building and heat forming properties than any
article of food made from flour.
That is why llnesda Biscuit should form
an important part of every meal. They repre
sent the superlative of the soda cracker, all
their goodness and nourishment being brought
from the oven to you in a package that is proof
against air, moisture and dust—the price being
too small to mention.

Atlanta Music Festival.
Through the hearty support
which has been received from
very many of the cities and towns
of Georgia, some of the worW’6
greatest artists have been secured
for the great festival which will
he held this year in Atlanta, M ay,
iJ-0 inclusive. Their very names
are sufficient guarantee of this-
fact, names which up to this time
have only served to tempt music
lovers of the south to New York
or tantalize those who could not
afford this trip. Included among,
the soloist who have already been
signed are: Mme. Lillian Blau-
velt, Mme. Charlotte Macon-da.
Mme. Gertrude May Stein, Mr.
Evan Williams, Mr. Theodore Van
Yorx, Mr.[David Bispham, Claude
Cunningham and Mme. Fannie
Bloomfield Zeisler, pianist. Such
a coterie of artists have never ap
peared in the south before and it
was only through the most gener
ous subscriptions from all purts
of the state that this new epoch
in educational history was made
possible for 1905,
A great chorus of voices repre
senting every section of Georgia
has been working fur mouths un
der the able instruction of Dr. J.
Lewis Browne on some of the
world's classics which will he
among the compositions rendered
at the coming festival. The state
press has been most generous in
furthering this great educational
feature and all the railroads have
promised half rates. So wide
spread is the interest that not on
ly musical organizations but
church associations, fraternal or-
d -rs and secular societies have
asked for further particulars and
in many schools teachers have
taken up for ^special study the,
compositions on the several pro
grams.
In this connection, Treasurer
H. T. Rodman, Prudential build
ing, Atlanta, is sending out this
information together with prices,
regulations for the reserving of
sents, complete program and
other details to individuals, sec
retaries and every applicant free..
Among the many prominent citi
zens on the Georgia board of di
rectors is the editor of this news
paper. The efforts of these gen
tlemen will be appreciated by ev
ery music lover in the state..
