The Reporter has a suggestion
from Mr. J. W. Johnston, which
we believe will meetwith universal*
approval. The exercises of Me
morial Day, the 20th, will prove
a greater occasion than usual this
year, as Governor Terrell is to be
orator of the day. The exercises
usually begin at two or three
o’clock, and after the whole pro
gram there is little time for coun
try people to go home before
night. Mr. Johnston thinks that
the hour for meeting should be
changed to 1 o’clock or 1:80, so
as to give all a better opportunity
'for attending. The Reporter
hopes the ladies of the Memorial
Association will make this change,
if they see proper.
