1. That they desire for themselves,
their associates,successors and assigns,
to lie incorporated asa railroad com
pany under the laws of the State of
Georgia, for the period of one hundred
and tine years, with the privilege of
renewal under the corporate name and

purpose of building, const rueting, own-
. Ing, equipping, maintaining and onera-
ting a railroad extending from West
Point in the County of Troup, Stale of
Geicgla, to some convenient point in
the County of Carroll, State of Geor

2. The length of said road as near

miles and running in a Northerly di
rection through the counties of Troup,
Heard and Carroll', from West Point
in Troup County to some convenient
point in Carroll County.
3. The capital stock of said corpora
tion is to he ♦ 100,000.00 divided into
shares of the par value of one hundred
dollars (.floOtX)) each, with the right to
increase the sumo to any amount in the
manner provided by law for increasing
the capital stock of railroads.

rights, powers and privileges now or
hereafter allowed railroads under laws
of this state, with the right, to apply
for and accept any additional powers
or amendments to its charter that may

any future laws, general or special, of

The protracted services at South
LnGruuge church is continuing,

increasing in interest ; the meet

meeting Wednesday night. All
persons are invited to come and
help.
There will be a business meet
ing of the Ep worth League held
at South LaGrange M. E. church
Friday night. We hope the mem
bers and uli who feel interested in

We regret very much to hear of
the death of Mrs. G. W. Murphy,
who died Monday, leaving a hus
band and several children.

him and broke his leg just below
