Civil W»r Mock Currency.
An antiquarian society has recently
obtained one of the most interesting
collections in the country. It consists
of the commercial tokens and mock
coins Issued by tradesmen during the
Civil war when small change of the
forerniiiexit stamp beemuo a rarity.
There are In the collection about one
thousand nine hundred varieties of
tokens.
