1st.
That petitioners desire for them
selves, their associates, successors
and assigns to be incorporated under
the name hnd style of “Hillside Cot-
ten MilW’for and during the full term
of twenty years with the privilege of
renewal at the expiration thereof.
XBe right to renew the charter there
of, or to discontinue and surrender
the same at the expiration of said
period or at any time prior thereto to
be determined by a majority vote of
the voting stockholders of said cor
poration.
\ 2nd.
The principal of lice and place of
business of said corporation is to be
in or near the city of LaGrange, said
county of Troup; but it is proposed
that said corporation engage in the
execution of the several purposes for
•which it is incorporated at any and all
points within and without the state

ed expedient and to the interest of
the corporation as may be determined
by the proper authorities thereof.
3rd.
The capital stock of Baid corpora^
is to be five hundred thousand
dollars, with the privilege, however
of increasing the same from time «

to exceed two million dollars, with
the further right to decrease said
capital stock from time to time, tne
minimum capital stock in no event
to be less than two hundred and fifty
thousand dollars. Said stock is to be
increased nnd decreased and issued
as preferred, common, or other class

■egulations and provisions as may be

minimum capital stock is paid in.

The object of said corporation is
neeuniary profit, to its stockholders.
It is proposed for said corporation to
engage in ginning and storing cotton

facture and deal in the products and
by-products cotton and cotton seed,
to deal in merchandise of all descrip
tions at wholesale and retail, to
operate plants generating, storing
and distributing light, power and wa
ter for both public and private vse,
to subscribe for, purchase, hold, vote
and sell stocks in this and other cor
porations; and also to purchase, hold

businesses and partnerships; to buy,
hold, own and sell real estate, stocks,
bonds and cboses in action; manu-
faeture, bleach, dye, pnnt and finis>i

Amendments to this charter, where
not material, may be authorized and
accepted by a majority vote of the
voting stock; and where such amend
ments are material, may be authoriz
ed and accepted by a three-fourths
vote Of the voting stock.
Wherefore, petitioners pray that
they, their associates, successors and
assigns be incorporated under tne
foiegoing name and for the forego
ing purposes, for the said period of
time, with all the rights and privi
leges herein set forth, together with
all those provided bv law «*nd sub
ject to all the liabilities provided by

EXECUTOR’S SALE.

By virtue' of an order granted by
the court of ordinary of said county,
will be sold in front of the court house
door of said county, on the first Tues
day in December next, between the
legal hours of sale, at public outcry,
to the highest bidder for cash, the
following described property, to-wit:
101 1-4 acres of land, more or less,
situated and being in Salem district
of Troup County Georgia in the
Fourth land district, same being the
north half of land lot No. 25, and
bound on the north by lands of T. C.
Floyd, east by lands of J. W. Tucker,
on the south by the old White place
and on the west by lands of Mrs.
Jennie Sturdivant, the same is known
as the home place of the late J. J.
Sturdivant deceased, for the purpose
of paying debts and distribution.
