Railroad, must have the name of the owner in full, to
gether with the initials of the consignee distinctly
marked on each bale, as the agenls have positiveor
ders not to receipt for cott n unless so marked. Tin
brands will be furni-hed by any of the warehouses to
their costumers gratis. The iialu ity of the Company
begins *cili the date of the receipts and ceases when
the cotton is thrown off the cars at Girard. The liabil
ity on all goods ceases when they are ready for delive
ry at ihe station to which they are sent, as appears
from the subjoined resolution of the Board oi Direc
tors:
-Resolved, That when goods are delivered at the
Agencies on this road where they are ordered, tlieiia
bili'yofthe road for said goods ceases, and that they
are at the risk of their owners.”
No artitie of freight will he discharged untili ali
charges on the. whole bill are paid.

cepted) at 5 o’clock, p. m.
[prin this Scheme, there are 75 numbers placed in
the Wheel, from 1 up to 70, and twelve of these num
bers are drawn from the Wheel. If a person selects
one N uinner out of the 75, and that number is among
the numbers drawn, he gets five times the amount in
vested. If two selected numbers are drawn, he gets
thirty for one; if three selected numbers are drawn, he
gets two hundred for one; if four selected numbers are
drawn, be gets a thousand for one; if five selected
numbers are drawn, five tbs usand tor one; if six selec
ted numbers are drawn, fifteen thousand to one.—
Remember: if two or more selected numbers are taken
and a 1 those Numbers so selected are not drawn among
the Twelve Brawn Numbers, the ticket is a Blank.
