WOMEN IN TROUBLE.
I The Approach of Motherhood is the
Occasion of Much Anxiety to All,
, Every woman dreads the ordeal
*’•rough which she must pass in becom
a mother. The pain and suffering
ph is in store for her is a source of
ptant anxiety, fear and dread, to
nothing of the danger which the
ling incident entails. The joyous
Jcipations with which she looks for
rvl to baby’s coming gives way to an
Jjscribable drerxtof the ordeal when
.*1- fully realizes the critical and trying
event which will soon approach and
have to be endured.
Women should hail with delight a
remedy which insures to them im
munity from the pain, suffering and
danger incidental to child-bearing.
Such a remedy is now offered, and
women need not fear longer the hour of
childbirth. “Mother’s Friepd”—is a
scientific liniment—and if used before
confinement, gently and surely prepares
the body for the great requirements
and changes it is undergoing, insures
-afety to both mother and child, and
take- her through the event with com
arative ease and comfort. This won
irful remedy is praised by every
Avoman who has used it.
What woman is not interested in
“Mother’s Friend?’’ This wonderful
remedy has lw>n tested and its price
less value proven by the experience ol
thousands of happy mothers who
have used it during tho most critical
period of woman’s life —the approach
and culmination of motherhood.
It has won their everlasting praise,
for it gave them help and hope in
their most trying hour and when
most needed. Every woman may some
day need “Mother’s Friend.” Th<!
little book, “Before Baby is Born,”
telling all about it, and when it should
be used, will prove of great interest and
benefit to all expectant mothers, and
will lie sent free to any address upon
application to the Bradfield liegulatoi

FIFTEEN HUNDRED PRESENT
At the Livir.g’Flag Drill Yesterday After
noon.
The Living Flag drill yesterday after
noon wis a great success. Fully fifteen
hundred children were present and about
an hour was spent in drilling the children.
Al of the children present took great in
terest in the drilling and seemed to enjoy
it very much. They were also given in
i structKxns aout the costumes they were to
wear. The boys are all to be dressed in
red and tbe girls are to wear white with
j rhe exception of those who are to form
j the blue field fcr the stars. The flag has
’ attrarcted attention throughout the coun
■ try and many people are coming purposely
to see it.
The different evolutions were taught ves
, terday afternoon by the teachers. The drill
is very pretty and will no doubt draw
forth great applause when it takes place.
WILL GET HOLIDAY,
_ _
: But the Board of Education Declines to
Talk.
j The Board of Education held a special
j meeting yesterday afternoon in the office
l of Superintendent Abbott. The object of
i the meeting was to decide about giving
I the children holiday. All c f rh e members
of the board were present, and after some
discussion of the matter the board ad
journed. They decided not to give out the
decision and informed 'the children that
I they would be informed what to do Monday
; morning.
( It was impossible to find out what the
decision was as none of the members of
the board would talk. It is thought, how
ever, that the children will be given hol
iday, as one of the members of the board
was a<sked if the children would be kept in
] school all the week <ftid he replied that he
could not say, which goes to show that
i they will at least be given two days holi
| day. All the parents of the children are
| anxious for them'to be given holiday as
; they wish them to see the Carnival.
