city or any part of it, as they consider it their
duty to protect the right of the citiaens to’", the
use of it as a Common, and will use all legal and
proper means to prevent that right Itom being

Academy aforesaid. This caution is :the more
extiaordinary, inasmuch as the City Council
have been for the last tea years up to the l>t
inst. Tenants of the Trustees of the very Com
nion referred to—and also, that within the last
two weeks a negocialiort has been pending be
tween the parties f<»r a further extension of the
ease- The Trustee* deem it only necessary to
id vise the public, that lessees of any portion of
lie aforsaid Common, will he protected in the
tnjoyment of their rights, by a convenant set
