shall be weighed at the scales prepared for that

she belongs to S.,rah Burns, of Abbeville, Dis
trict Soth Carolina. Ellen is duik complexion
5 feet high, 18 or 20 year* old ; and walks very
bone in her tight hip, which site says was
caused by Rheumatism. The owneis of said
Negroes, will come forward pay expences and
take them away.

AN ACT to provide for the call of a
Convention to reduce the number of
the General Assembly of the State
of Georgia, aud for other purposes
therein named.
Be it enacted by the Senate and floust
of Representatives of the State of Geor
gia in General Assembly met, and it is
hereby enacted by the authority of the
same , r l hat the fiist Monday in Apitl.
1833, be, and the same is heieby desig
na.ed and set it part tts i|ie day mi winch
the citizens of Gcoigiu qualified to vote
for members of ihe Legislature, shall at
the several places prescribed by law f>r
holding such elections vote fur delegates
to represent them in Convention, in num
ber equal to their representation in both
Branches of the General Assjtifblyj such
elections to be conducted, managed and
certified under the same law as are ol
force in respect to elections of members
of the General Assembly.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That
it shall bo the duty of such managers t-.-
transmit to his excellency the Governor
the result of said elections under die laws
now ol iorce lor conducting managing and
certifying elections of nrentbersof General
Assembly as aforesaid, within 30 days af
ter such elecions —VI hereupon it is made
the duty of His Excellency the Govern

Sec. 3, And be it further enacted, Thai

and been an inhabitant of this State seven
years immediately preceding the day of
hiscicetiou and who shall have tesided
one year in the county fjr which he shall
be elected.
Sec. 4, And be it further enacted, Thai

Conventjon take the following oath, or
affirmation, viz: I, A. B. do so lin nly
swear, that I will not attempt to add 10,
